| Discuss the Carnegie Challenge Cup Fourth Round fixture here.
Unfortunately with 12 first team squad members out we don't have the luxury of rotating the squad for this one, although I'd expect a youthful interchange bench.
Doncaster maybe in Championship One but they have a number of ex Super League players in their squad - notably Paul Cooke and Kyle Bibb.
Don't forget this fixture is pay on the gate - Adults £15/£18.

| Would like to see youth on the bench maybe Marcus Elliott, Alex Ball or Jobe Murphy lets see what these lads can do against men
May-be even risk Elliott at Stand-off from the start give chance to rest sammut and if it does not workout could always shift Addy back into the stand-off role. this is an ideal game to test our youth lads out and to see if they are up 2 it.

| Dream tie for me. Born and bred in Donny, lived in Bradford for almost ten years, Mrs is from Bradford and we are season ticket holders with both clubs!
Tony Miller has assembled a decent side down at the Keepmoat who are playing fast flowing attractive rugby. Tommy Hodson has scored eight tries in the past two games!
Does anyone remember Keiran Hyde who was swapped for Cain Sothernwood? He has been playing very well alongside Paul Cooke.
I would expect the Bulls to win comfortably, however i do expect to see Donny give a good account of themselves. I just hope a decent crowd turns out to swell the coffers for both clubs.

To be honest the only that benefits from this fixture is Bradford, who will be able to take home the bar and programme sales.
All the gate money goes straight into the RFL's central pot which ultimately ends up as the competition money.

No it doesn't, after "reasonable agreed expenses" for the likes of stewarding the money over the gate is split 50/50
The competition pot is additional money gathered from sponsorship, TV rights etc
The money from these games pretty much has the power to make or break clubs like Doncaster, the revenue raised can be enough to stop us going under for another year. Remember passing a bucker round to survive as a perennial exercise for many teams at our level

Yes.
Doncaster have 2 players serving the 2nd game of their suspension against the Bulls on Sunday.

That's certainly my understanding of way cup gate receipts are split, unless rules this year. Can't see that as of they took away gate receipts most of lower league clubs wouldn't enter cup. One possibility is it specific to and the nee lease arrangements i.e. Our rent only covers SL games and rfl takes cup receipts. Poor arrangement if we've agreed to that though.

All the more reason for supporters of both clubs to get to the game.

Took some doing but finally found relevent rules. see here
rlhttps://www.therfl.co.uk/operational_rulesrl
section a3:10 covers it. PDF doesnt allow cut and pasting but to praphrase
of the net gate receipts (ie after vat deducted).
5% goes into cup prize fund.
15% to host club if SL (otherwise 5%, presumably on assumption the bigger grounds cost more to open).
travelling expenses to the visiting team.
Remainder of money is then spli 50/50 between the two teams.

Don't think so Mick.
If that's the case then it'll be Keighleys turn to have a Quest for Survival.
Sundayg game against Warrington is worth a fortune to a club like us.
