The Guardian article doesn't really say anything. Only that Warrington would buy him. I am sure lots of clubs would, but it must be only Warrington with space under the cap.

I thought the benefit of not going into administration, was to keep the likes of Bateman and Whitehead.
If we have to sell them to survive, we may swell go into administration and reform + get hood out then.
Though I can't see anyone would be paying 'Six Figures' if they could get a free transfer a few weeks later.

In the interview on Radio Leeds, (Can't remember who did it). He said the 'long term business' was keep them. If the board break that promise to me, I will break mine and not fulfill my pledge.

Come on Bullboy get with the programme. We are in this mess for many reasons, undoubtedly one of them being the obsession to have a particular player we couldn't afford. As much as Bateman is immense and I would love the team of the next decade to be built round him, Whitehead, Crookes etc, we simply can't allow any one player to dictate the future financial stability of our Club. These are difficult times and difficult decisions have to be made.

If you would genuinely pull your pledge cos of this idealism I personally feel you are a tad short-sighted. Greatest good for the greatest number and all that.
