The Bulls issued a desperate plea for fans to raise £500,000 by Friday of next week to keep them afloat.
And they need another £500,000 to pay off debts.
But sources say there are a pair of proposals being looked at that could see the club in new hands.
Bradford chief executive Ryan Duckett says he would consider offers to buy the club lock, stock and barrel.
And Rugby Football League insiders say there have been tentative approaches.
Both interested parties are said to be at the earliest stages of due diligence and it will be a while before they decide whether to proceed.
Time is not on the Bulls' side at the moment as they need £500,000 by Good Friday or they may fold.
Largest shareholder Chris Caisley, who has taken a back seat and criticises current chairman Peter Hood, is believed to be considering his options.
He could link up with haulage tycoon Steve Parkin, who contacted him last year in a failed bid to buy Bulls and Bradford City.
After revealing the true extent of their plight, more than £103,000 has been pledged by supporters and sponsors.
However, much more is needed and there are doubts the figure will be reached without the sale of players.
It is believed Hull are lining up a move for winger Jason Crookes, 21, on a three-year deal. He has scored five tries in seven Super League matches this season.
Bulls have allowed one of their highest-paid players, Paul Sykes, to leave the club and sign for Wakefield Wildcats.
The former Great Britain and England utility player's departure immediately eases the Bulls' wage bill.
Sykes, 30, was in his second stint with the Bulls after three seasons with Harlequins.

| Hmm, that article also reckons Sykes was one of our highest paid players. If that's true then no wonder we're bankrupt

| Well not sure why Hull would want to pay a fee when he's OOC. I'd imagine they are up to SC for this season anyway.
Sykes rumour has some weight to it now, has my best wishes at Wakefield.

We are apparently £60k under the cap.
Not sure we'd be after Crookes, though.

We are definately £60 grand under cap. Pearson stated at fans forum. Whether Crooks is a good enough signing for a club that has stated we want to be top dogs in a couple of years is debatable

| Whilst a takeover, which would largely wipe out our financial predicament, would be the most welcome outcome in my opinion ( for reasons other than purely financial) We need to consider the impacts of who would actually be involved. I think it is quite obvious to all that CC left before a financial meltdown hit the club, except that it's taken much longer than he anticipated. He jumped ship having lit the blue touch paper which has resulted in this storm. I think his position, not just as Chairman but as a director, had become untenable. It's very unfortunate that he is still the majority shareholder and nobody should underestimate just how close his rampant ego (which is well known even beyond RL) came to destroying the club. Only he could think of attemtping such a triumphant return. He is a run of the mill solicitor, he is no business dragon, but he has always liked to think he is up there with the best of them. Parkin's motives for wanting to acquire the club were dubious to say the least and an alliance of him and CC seriously worries me. Also to consider is CC's position as a players agent. Surely the two roles are incompatible, if not officially, then morally. In brief - a great short-term solution but with a big long-term worry for me.

| I should imagine Steve Parkin would be interested in the Bulls, but only if he could get them via administration.

Quote: "Hood has held tentative talks with a number of potential investors and said the widespread media coverage had raised awareness of the club’s plight and ignited interest.
“We’re only 48 hours into the appeal process but it’s generating huge amounts of media interest, leading to new interest from different and new quarters,” he said.
“People with an interest are starting to reveal themselves and we will explore those in the appropriate way. We will take them seriously and follow up on them.
“Meanwhile, we’re focusing our energies on the pledge because that’s the reality of the situation and we need to make it work.”'"

I'd doubt that Parkin had any real interest in the rugby club, I'd guess it's more likely a straight business interest in the potential money to be made from the ground. That possibility has disappeared since the RFL bought the principal lease, or at least, that is what we have been led to believe.

Splitting the ground from the club limits the possibility for someone to buy the club, move the club to VP & develop Odsal into a logistics/warehousing hub (with central location & motorway links).
On that point, the Odsal lease sale seems to be working as planned.
