One thing that intrigued me last Sunday was the fact that the Catalans forwards made no attempt to get onside following our kicks; they just meandered around until play caught up with them and then slotted into the line. The Ref did nothing about this but surely they should have been told to get back onside. They must conserve quite a bit of energy with this little trick.

we should have kicked it dead a bit more to get them moving behind the 20m line at least.

Correct idea though, would have made them move but most fans wouldnt see that

Always annoys me that a prop can just about 20 yards down field when ball gets kicked waiting for fullback to return ball but he gets told to give him 10..if prop is 20 yards in front of kicker he should be told stay out completely you lazy tit.
If fb catches ball from punt on 10 m line but runs 20 metres to where hes hit by the prop thats ok..but if the prop was in the line 20 metres back the fb would be able to make 50 metres before being hit by same player.
