| What do RFL & Sky think their playing at moving the saturdays TV game to Monday from May to fill void left by football, Bloody Joke. Hope Premier Sports move Championship games from Thursday night to Saturday in order to fill void. It would defo give the lower league alot more coverage as I think a lot more people would tune in. Thought's People.

| how can you expect fans say travel to say Hull/Hull KR away and the same for Hull fans to travel to st helens etc on a monday night with the kids in school next day, london away would be totally out of the question. Its ok say if you have not got young children and don't work, but thought that's what rugby league is about a sport where all the family can go

Spot on but then dont you think thats what Sky would want? Get the fans staying at home in front of the box and paying for Sky rather than travelling for games and sitting in the cold with the kids especially on school days! I am not a fan of this idea but i can understand Sky playing the hole in the market when football ends for the season!

How do you think that Championship fans have felt for the past few years playing on Thursdays?
I have decided not to bother with Sky this year and will just be attending live games.

| The Premiership didn't have an issue with it, and it has been a massive success for them. Sky know that compared to almost any other sport we get excellent viewing numbers and it is no surprise that they would give us pride of place in the same slot. We should view it as both a compliment and an opportunity. I do.

| It's a crap time to play. Fridays are bad enough. I will be in the massed ranks of season ticket holders unable to attend.

| Crowds will be down I'm sure, but this should be reflected in the Sky deal.

| Whilst I agree in principle that it aint the best idea in the world, i doubt sky would move say an hull kr v london game to a monday night at an hinderance to travelling fans. To get a decent viewer percentage I would hazard a guess that 'the game of the round' will be moved to the monday night, which unfortunately is likely to involve one of wigan, leeds etc etc, all within reasonable travelling distance

| I think it is a great idea. It gives me more options on the weekend when I'm more likely to be off doing other things, and fills the void of Monday night.
IMO this is good for spreading the game outside the heartlands. Those whinging about not being able to get to games can stay home and watch on Sky. It won't affect many games - I really don't understand the fuss being made.

It's pretty poor imo, even worse it's in [iaddition[/i to the Friday TV games which will remain. All Sky RL is going to be on worknights and nothing on the weekend. For anyone who has to work late it makes the season ticket less worthwhile and it hasn't gone unnoticed that they've allowed clubs to sell tickets before announcing it.

| Before SL, Wednesday night games used to be quite common & well attended. Not that many of you used to attend pre-SL

| Yes, it's not like there aren't people who work on Friday nights, or weekends, is it?
Listen, no kick-off time will ever suit everybody, self included, but really you should look at the bigger picture. The season ticket point is with respect just silly. How many games is any one club going to face on a Monday night? 1? 2? I don't know of that many people who work weekday nights, who (with varying amounts of notice, could not either take a few hours off, or else re-arrange their shift if they wanted to go.
And yes there will always be some who can't do anything about it but as I say that is so for ANY kickoff time, and no disrespect but I think to advance a conspiracy theory that Sky delayed any announcement about Mondays to prevent a loss of the odd season ticket sale is frankly nuts.
