| Just seen an article on FB that pay on the day prices at Hull FC will £25, discounted down to £23 if tickets are pre bought. After checking our own prices it is the same gameday price for the Tetley's stand but £21 if pre bought. It's £16 if you pre buy for the terraces.
Is it just me or is £23 a heck of a lot of money, how does this compare with the rest of SL? I assume it is somewhere in line with most clubs with modern stadia. Personally I resent paying for my shiney seat when I prefer to stand anyway!
Not sure what the answer is, I guess an 'away' season ticket might end up costing clubs a lot of money! Might have to pick and choose some away games this year, unless work picks up!

| It's going to be £200 at Huddersfield this season apparently.

| It gets better at Hull FC. The same view yet in a different stand is £4 cheaper for home fans.
HULL FC STATEMENT (Obtained vire Warrington Wolves website)
Hull FC have moved to clear up some confusion around the pricing for away supporters this season.
Away fans travelling to the KC Stadium will receive tickets for the North Stand for £23 adult if bought in advance from their club ticket office.
This priority purchase will last until the week of the game when prices increase to £25 adult for purchasing tickets on the gate.
This pricing structure is in line with the majority of other areas in the ground and the pre-purchase price is cheaper than the main West Stand and the popular East Stand.
The only areas of the ground that do not follow this pricing structure are the new family area of the West Stand and the South Stand, where special promotional prices (£19) have been set to reward Hull FC supporters for their loyalty in previous seasons.
The new look management at the club promised that an area of the ground would be reduced on match days for home supporters, which is why this area has been offered to fans.
The club are not discouraging away supporters from travelling to the KC Stadium this year and will continue to provide one of the best facilities for away fans in 2012, who will also be accompanied by dedicated supporter liaison officers from the club to ensure their match day experience in Hull is a positive one.

| Too expensive for me I'm afraid. Unfortunately my reduced means will keep me going to home games and the odd away game where cheaper standing is available.

I go to most away games and cannot think of a ground as cheap as ours for the away fans. I think I paid £20 at Wakey and Cas and Leeds last year (all behind the sticks uncovered). We should be charging away fans £20 for behind the sticks I rekon.

| ditto. Going to make more of an effort to get to away games this year, which I've not been bothering with too much last few years, but no way I'm paying £23 even if it is a nice stadium.

As you are yet to buy a round it shouldn't affect your drinking.
With respect.

29955.jpg If I'd have wanted glory I would have followed Man Utd.
Football is a game where men spend 90 minutes pretending to be in pain and Rugby League is a game where men spend 80 minutes pretending not to be in pain.

| If all clubs offered a discount price throught the league of say £12 or £15 to the holder of any RL season ticket from all clubs from any league I think not only would more away fans attend but also neautrals with a free afternoon of evening. I spoke to Mr Bennet about this once, just after the first membership launch, but he said it would be nigh on impossible to get some clubs to aggree.

| Surely there is nothing to stop say Bradford, Leeds, Cas, Wakey, Hudds etc doing a deal though? The Yorkshire Derby season ticket, it would certainly benefit teams like ourselves, Leeds, Cas etc where cover for away supporters isn't available in the usual spot for away supporters.

New packages being offered for the more casual fans. A 6 game pick and mix ticket for £85 or a 7 game selection ticket for £70
Another good idea from the club to get in a few more extra people through the gates.

| After reading the Hull board, it also appears that they charge away fans more for food and drink at the KC. Sounds like they're taking the p!ss a little, I tend to go pretty much all over in a season but will be thinking carefully before visiting Hull this year.
