Dewsbury have confirmed that the ground covers are on site and will be deployed on Thursday with them remaining on till Sunday morning.

Good stuff, hopefully game will be on. Unfortunatly I will not be there. Would have put Pryce instead of Platt but I think Pryce will still be injured for the Dewsbury game.

I'd imagine that the squad being put out will be pretty much what was going to be facing Featherstone, given that game was postponed and we're running out of friendlies for the first team

so it could be just about anything than the current persistent cold weather that would necessitate covers. So I think this one could be on, but cold wet windy weather that will create a load of handling mistakes. Just right for Gale no pun intended to get his kicking game going.

I would seek solace in the West Riding Refreshment Rooms on Dewsbury station, one of the best pubs on the planet. It's also the best place if the weather looks threatening.
