| looked to bring new and innovative ideas to the matchday programme for your club
However, we want to hear your views about what you would like to see in your programme.
If you are a regular programme buyer, what do you like?
Is there something that used to be in the programme that you would like to see return?
Have you seen something in other publications that you think would work well for your club
What puts you off purchasing a copy
do you have any suggestions ?

| For a start they ain't called programmes any more, they've been spingraded to matchday magazines, and the price 'adjusted' accordingly. I'd buy a modest, short version for a cheap price, containing the essential info that I want about the game and teams, if it contains some additional reading material or images/articles etc then fine.
But the main point for me of buying a programme at your average game was to see the teams, and I used to always get one. The problem with it being a glossy mag, printed the previous September, is that the teams bear little or no relation, and so the prime reason for getting a "programme" has been removed.
As obviously some people must like the magazine version, I'd suggest a cheapo programme sold alongside the glossy waste of space.

| when I watched a match in Australia, their equivalent of the programme was a booklet detailing all the games for that round in the NRL and more NRL news than specific to that club. I think I would be more likely to get one of those if they were to sell them over here.
The only plus point of getting a programme is to get official articles from Hood and Potter each week.

I'd agree with that
I would certainly buy a programme for, say a quid / £1.50 and be happy with a team list, with maybe player summaries particularly of the opposition, doesn't need to be gloosy or even colour for me tbh.

| We tried to buy one every match last year, to put a few quid into the club, as the tickets were so cheap. I have to admit that I have hardly ever read any of them.
They were sold out at a couple of games though, so people are obviously buying them.

| Always buy a programme seeing tickets were so cheap and will do again this year. Don't read all of it, team info and opposition team info

| Don't always get one as I sometimes arrive before they are on sale (before the U20 game) I usually get one as I go into the stand area but if I miss out I don't go out afterwards to see if there are any.
To be honest there is far too much to read, and as I'm usually talking to someone or other and don't have time before the game and more often than not I forget afterwards.
My biggest interest is in the teams and that would do for me, squad numbers for the visitors that sort of thing. Not suggesting a printed sheet (like for the U20s) but something between that and the 'matchday magazine' that we currently have would be adequate.

| I'm trying to think of the last time I bought one.
I honestly think it was back in the 70s - when you got a cartoon figure of a player in a Northern shirt on the cover.
I never think to buy one now. I've got all the pre-match info from the Web, and can get anything I need on my iPhone before the match. It's hard to see any reason to buy a program, to be honest.
Sorry

| I used to buy them quite regularly but have bought fewer recently due to having to tighten the belt a bit.
I like to have feedback from coach and chairman and updates on how the juniors and U20s are doing.
As a new thing I'd like to know more about training regimes. Could they give a run down of what players do at each level? Maybe the dafter ones of us could try and emulate them in the gym and get fitter? Maybe publish a typical routine for players at different ages. Make sure you include advice and caveats so people don't hurt themselves but it could be an interesting idea.

| Always buy one. Would like to see a regular "Where are they now" article about old & ex players.

You'll be glad to know that that exact feature will be in the Bulls 2012 matchday programmes.

| I havn't bought a programme for about 4 years. So with every programme do player stats get updated? Or do they appear in the programme?
For example a player profile may say:
1. BRETT KEARNEY
DOB :
AGE:
ETC.......
Then does it have a little section about their 2012 stats. So for the Wigan game will it have like:
Kearney
Apps: 2
Tries: 1
Goals: 0
Points: 4
etc??

| They definitely get updated, as the players height grows over time. IIRC Robbie Paul was 7'9" by the time he left
