Just realised that this guy is OOC at St George... He is a rough tough prop and a good workhorse too! As much as I am in favour of Glenn Morrison returning this would be the better option for a quota spot, he is a good age which means more longevity and not 'injury prone'. Would certainly fill the Lynch gap.

He would be a fantastic replacement for Lynch and as he's only 26 he's just about to start hitting his prime years as a forward.
Question is, can we get him to quit the NRL for SL?

He looks the part, Potter likes players that can cover other positions and he can be prop 2nd row or LF. He has played with Heath, picture of the 2 of them at Manly on his wiki page. On the other hand why OCC or not taken up elsewhere? Subject to that, if the cap is there and quota places stretched to it I would have both Glenn and Cuthbertson on 1 and 2+ year contracts. We also need other forwards stepping up to take the responsibility that Lynch shouldered this season, just look at the stats, the only other player to get near him in the SL top 25 stats is AV who was on in the errors missed tackles and penalties top 25 as well as appearances and metres, whereas Lynch for tackles, carries, offloads, metres and appearances. These 2 should put the fire back into the rest of the pack.

Leeds are linked with cuthbertson. Also we can't sign him unless sammut gets dispensation which is looking increasingly unlikely. Would be a good replacement for lynch though if we could swing it.

that was key phrase. Think if they were going to give dispensation we'd have heard within a few days. Fact its dragging on so long isnt promising, and TBH I dont really see why he should get a dispensation if we had already completed his signing before RFL decided to give the dispensations. Its ridiculous how long this has dragged on for now. We cant get involved in negotiations for players until we know the answer and could miss out on players like cuthbertson as a result.
