| Reported in today's League Express that the Bulls are looking to bring Willie Mason to Odsal on loan until the end of the year. Hood said "we currently have space on our overseas quota, and we have some key forwards out injured who are expected to take some time to return".
"We would certainly like to speak to Hull KR about the possibility of doing this, although talks haven't yet taken place".
He also confirms our interest in bringing Leon Pryce back to the Bulls.

| Name dropping to keep us interested?
The Leon Pryce thing is boring now. If they were interested in him how is doing all this in the press going to help? With discussions with Saints if they are trying to get him early or Leon if he's coming after his contract finishes? They now allow the other party to up their wage / transfer fee demands.
Sign him or shut up!

| Well we've been saying how we need big name signings, a prop and a stand off.....they tick both boxes.
Other than name dropping a big name Aussie, who we know we wouldn't get anyway, I think this is the best thing Hood could come out with after yesterdays shambles.

| Signing him on loan would minimise the risk and might work for both parties. We certainly could do with a big Prop 'enforcer' type in our line up. Mason hasn't exactly set SL on fire in his short stint though and I'd be wary of wasting huge amounts of caps space on him. Unless Hull KR would still be paying part of his wage as part of the deal?
Will it make a dramatic difference to our fortunes? Probably not, unless we manage to get a FIT Leon Pryce earlier.

| to be honest...ive heard numerous times that the physio is rubish at the bulls so it could also be another miss diagnosis to elima...ie L'estrange had broken his nakle and came back 2/3 weeks later
signing mason could be good and bad...god would have anohter experienced forward..bad could possibly disturb the blance of the team
Leon is definatley coming back next year...he was at the leeds game and when i spoke to him said he was near to putting pen to paper on a 2 year deal

| I'm no medical expert, but surely the incorrect diagnosis of Heath's ankle had nothing at all to do with the Physio?

| Mason could give all the boys someone to look upto, an Aussie Superstar among the ranks. It would be well worth trying to get him on loan, an experianced forward wouldnt go a miss with our injuries at the moment. I can't see Hull KR letting us take him on loan, think they'll want their young lads training with him everyday.

would they want their young lads looking at someone who signed a 2/3 year deal and is potentially leaving after 5/6 games though ?
not setting a good exapmle to me and thats wy i said it would disturb the balance at the bulls becuase he would come over to us , and be earning a silly amount......ie adrian morley saga which caused real disruption to the squad

Really? I bow to your superior knowledge then, but I would think he would surely go to hospital for scans? I was led to believe that it wasn't picked up on initial scans.. nothing to do with Physio surely?
