| What a shoulder smash, fair play to the wigan player getting back to his feet. This guy is just a machine, gets through a ton of work and puts in the minutes, fingers crossed he'd be considered for england this year.

| Overrated IMO. Nowhere near England class.

| All well and good putting these big hits in but they are generally followed up by missed tackles because everyone is still stood around saying well done.

| I remember Morley getting smashed twice in 10 minutes by a (PNG) forward last season. Another 10 minutes later the player was off knackered while Morley continued terrorising the opposition for the rest of the game.

| Scruton's been quiet so far this season so it was good to see him try and make an impression.

| When was the last time we saw a Bulls forward break the tackle or put the tackler on his backside?
IMO Scruton is our best forward at the moment other than the injured Langley.
He's the only one who drives the ball in and tackles with any passion.
Sibbit, Hargreaves, Koppy and Lynch are all too quiet for my liking.

| Noticed Scruton taking a bit of stick on here and IMO, he's probably the best forward we have.
I didn't think our forwards were outclassed yesterday, they made good yards, just didn't break the line. Against Leeds they were far superior, making better yards, building a platform for briggs, kearney.
I think that most teams on SL (including usual top 4) would happily take Scrutes and use him within their team. IMO i would be surprised if he didn't make the England team this year

Sibbit - maybe, could have done with other players on the end of some the balls he received
Hargreaves - ran well and did his job IMO
Koppy - put his hand up and took the ball in quite a lot. Unfair criticism of him seems to be back
Lynch - started ok but probably was one of his quieter games - was he injured as it seemed like he was off for a long time. As per my other note, factors such as lack of half backs meant it was easy to defend against and being tired due to excessive grappling

A certain Mr Whitehead might have a very strong case against that!!! He will be our next player in an England shirt!!!

Find it hard to disagree with that. Still, would be nice to see them both!
All in all, i'm happy with the pack we have. That's not where we lost the game yesterday.

| It's quite odd to think that a couple of years ago, our "ones to watch" backrowers were Donaldson & Olbison. They were the ones being touted around as superstars and Whitehead was almost an afterthought. When Elliott got picked, I remember a few people questioning why he was in ahead of Olbi.
As much as I like Olbi & Donno, I don't think anyone would be questioning why Elliott is picked any more! Superb talent that lad is, and a great head on his shoulders too. And that is in no way to do a dis-service towards Olbi & Donno, who are also very down to earth lads and clearly have talent aplenty.

Olbison prooved yesterday that he wouldn't be out of place in a super league team and I would personally have him ahead of Sibbit in the squad based on yesterdays & the pre season games!
