Can I just take a few moments to offer my sincerest of apologies to the supporters who listened to my commentary today be it in hopsital or at the ground live, over a few foul and abusive comments that came across on my commentary today.

These comments which were aimed at the referee Phil Bentham which I won't repeat on here, came from one of the supporters who showed little faith in the Bradford side as he left 15 minutes early.

As he was walking up the steps he saw me commentating and without warning grabbed my microphone and slurred the foul and abusive comments to the many of you taking in my commentary.

I hope this incident didn't spoil your day at Odsal today and I can assure you the person will be dealt with accordingly.

Once again it was a very unfortunate incident and I can't apologise enough for this morons actions.

I've put this on here because I couldn't offer the supporters (those in the ground) a face to face apology.

For the Wakefield game we shouldn't have this problem as I'll be away from the steps.

Joking aside Mick, I hope the scheme doesn't get any real flak from the incident this aft. Sounds like there was nowt that you could have done about it, and hopefully your listeners / the powers that be appreciate that.

No mate on the media benches at the back of the main stand but because of all the media at todays, Chris Irvine, Andy Willson, Dave Hadfield, BCB, Wish FM, Radio Leeds, BBC Sports Extra to name a few it was pretty full so I ended up with the short straw having to sit right on the end behind Connor Murphy and the League Express/League Weekly journos etc. . . . .
