Having seen Briggs a couple of times last year, he looks a good prospect and I'm sure can make the step up, but IMO he's not ready to step staight into the starting 6 shirt for us, more a work in progress to bring through steadily like southenwood.

Creative tricky little bug_ger with a flair for exploiting a gap. Lacks the pace for SL IMO, or I believe he'd already be there. Good hands and a good kicking game - but only at championship level thus far.
A good lad, cracking personality - a real nice bloke and has been a real good servant to fev in the season and a half he's been with us.

I also make you right about the Cas/Hull links, both heavily linked before xmas, and the way it went quiet I wouldn't be surprised if something has already been agreed in private for the end of his contract with one of those clubs. Which is why I doubt any rumour of him coming to us, even if I think he's worth some investment for future potential.

No. I can't speak for anyone from the club but I'd be surprised if he had anymore contact with Fev. That's all I can say on that one. I agree about some of his performances. They were match winners and we missed him in the final!
