And who would blame him.
To go down there and achieve what he has in his first year is phenomenal. It just shows what a talent we unearthed there, I just wish we could have had him for a few more seasons before he went.

Lets put Sam's performance into some sort of perspective after being voted by his team mates at South Sydney as player of the year. And winning by a huge margin of 56 points over Issac Luke's 42 points.
* First season experience in NRL
* 21 years old
* Played Lock, 2nd Row and Prop with equal abilty.
* Played 22 out of 24 games
His first year in NRL has been quite extraordinary. Good on ye !
IMO even better to see him get the award for Clubman of the year for his involvement with the junior teams.

wouldnt surprise me tbh. hope we get at least a couple of years of 1st team out of twins before they follow sam though. |

Yes maybe true but Luke was not there and did'nt do the business. Sam was.
No way can there be any favoutite for the Daly M atm for next season. |

It might be a wish list from Souths but I can't see them signing the brothers before they have SL credentials. I also think that whilst they look exciting now neither have yet attained the same potential that Sam showed at the same age. |
