I might be wrong but is this how it works?;
So they've already bought x amount of seats in each end and want to sell "rights" to each seat many times to different club fans, with only 1 set of fans being able to take up the "right". As a very rough example, 10 fans pay an average of £5 (non-refundable) for the "right" to 1 seat, 1 fan pays the full amount after the semis as his team gets to final, all other fans lose the "right". Seat cost for company = £41, seat sold for £86 (inclusive of the 10 "rights" issues), £45 profit per seat.
Its clever if people hand over cash that easily, I'll give them that.
BTW Remind me again how many finals since we returned to Wembley have sold out?
