Guys - this is an amazing new concept from a well known sports referee.
www.challengecuptickets.co.uk
Basically you pay a small booking fee, then if your team reaches the final you are guaranteed a ticket sitting with the rest of the supporters, right behind the goal!
Check it out - its worth a look! Best of all, it's in association with the Rugby League itself, so you know you're safe!

| It's quite a good concept for non season ticket holders I'd say.
No use to me as I have a season pass, so would be pretty hacked off if I wasn't given priority for purchasing from the club anyway. But for non season ticket holders, I'd say it's quite a good idea.

| And if by some freak of nature we don't make the final any Bradford fan signing up will lose their £5.09 non refundable "rights issue".... no thanks.
I might be wrong but is this how it works?;
So they've already bought x amount of seats in each end and want to sell "rights" to each seat many times to different club fans, with only 1 set of fans being able to take up the "right". As a very rough example, 10 fans pay an average of £5 (non-refundable) for the "right" to 1 seat, 1 fan pays the full amount after the semis as his team gets to final, all other fans lose the "right". Seat cost for company = £41, seat sold for £86 (inclusive of the 10 "rights" issues), £45 profit per seat.
Its clever if people hand over cash that easily, I'll give them that.
BTW Remind me again how many finals since we returned to Wembley have sold out?

| The points made are sound. Although I think the idea is a good one, I certainly wouldn't be paying a fiver for the privelidge (assuming what Duckman has posted is the actual figure, not one just made up - I can't get on the site, so can't check). I assumed "small booking fee" was a quid or something. I wouldn't call a fiver a small booking fee personally.
(But hey, maybe I'm just tight!)

For people deperate to sit in that lower part of the stadium behind the sticks if your team gets there then go for it. But it is a risk of losing money, especially when the final probably wont sell out anyway.... But I'm also tight so would rule it out on that basis alone
Its £5.09 for Bulls fans, different prices for different clubs. Leigh fans can buy a right for £3 something (can't quite remember) and its over £6 for Leeds fans.

| Aye, now you mention all that, I can't see many people taking up the offer to be honest. Like you said, it may be a different kettle of fish if the Final starts to sell out again, but as it stands now, it's just not worth it.

| No thanks. Doubt many Rugby League fans will be interested in this concept. Probably do alright in puffball though.
