He does need to up his game as Donno and Whitehead could easily overtake him in the SR ranks this year.

They overtook him in the ability ranks when they were born.

With the amount of quality young back rowers in our squad, I'm hoping Worrincy doesn't even get in the side this year barring major injury crisis. Even then, I'd rather take someone from the Conference on loan.

There is much in what you say and its an option, but he's a natural second row with great bashing forward power. Sure he lacked tactical awareness last year and a lot depends on how Macca and his assistants have improved this over the off season.

IMO there is more to come from the Worrloard. Last year Nero proved his first season doubters wrong and I expect Worrincy to do the same next season. I cannot believe with the season we had that people are having a go at a player who has pace and is a proven try scorer.

It would have been difficult for Mike as a raw player coming into a side with several others putting in substandard performances. Lets see how he does with quality ball from the likes of Orford

I Dont actually think worrincy is as bad as people are making out, yes he made some awful decisions shooting out the defensive line and missings his man last season however, some of his tries scored where ammense (Saints Away). The Attacking lines he runs are amazing. I may get alot of stick here but id still have him in the 17 over Whitehead and Donaldson

Ok he is what they call a 'work in progress' but I think we will see more from him this year.
