| 1: How's it looking?
2: How does it affect the club? Is it imperative/important/nice/inconsequential/damaging for them to go up? I add the last option as I have heard of football fans commenting that promotion can increase the wage bll and knacker a club that was doing quite nicely where it was.

| I think the game against Forest Green is going to be crucial. If they can get a result the Minstermen will probably stay up.

| The idea that clubs `don`t want` promotion has been around for years and in some circumstances may be true. Particularly in cases where promotion would bring more onerous ground requirements for example but that obviously doesn`t apply in City`s case.
Higher wages would be a problem though and where normally higher attendances and sponsorship/advertising revenues would be expected to cover that, in City`s case, with the really cheap ticketing offers I`d guess that the extra fans that might normally be attracted are probably already going.
All of which means putting up prices which hopefully won`t, but might, actually cause a fallback in sales. Players and fans always want the highest level obtainable though and if fans thought their club lacked ambition it could cause some to lose interest. A bit of a minefield really.

| F*cking hurting from that, seen the goals on SSN, listened to the game, defence was atrocious.
McCall's now said he's ready to quit if we don't make the play-offs, but I truely believe our home form is good enough to get us in there.
I pray that is!

| rlBRADFORD 0, PORT VALE 1rl Quote: "ANGRY City fans jeered and hurled their season tickets as the Bantams went down to a shock fourth defeat in 11 days.'"
A Vale player picked them up and handed them to the kit man.
So although you may doubt the NOTW - this is actually TRUE.

| I know how it feels to be a disillusioned football fan... I Support Forest!
I`m convinced `Citeh` will be going nowhere... and growing up with most my mates Bantams that`s sad.
However.
If City were to go up then there is no doubt that it could only be good for the club.
Big crowds against `Uddersfield and possibly Leeds replacing those of Acrington Stanley & Brentford would swell the coffers, no doubt.

| The consequences of not going up don't bare thinking about, Mark Lawn has just had to inject 1 million of his own money into the club to balance the books for this season. First season back in league 2 we were told we'd try to finish top 3 but failed miserably, if it was any other person but McCall they would have been sacked in their first year in charge. Second season we were told we'd aim to win it and we have actually built a good squad on paper, but whilst they have the ability they lack backbone and leadership. Can't see us going up, we'll make the playoffs and lose in the first game, it'll be 4,000 fans to Bury on a tuesday night and we'll stand in the cold watching them lose 2-0, bunch of bottlers. Even if we get to the final and take 30,000 to wembley they'll still bottle it. Picked the wrong time to hit a bad run of form.
