It's tricky to assess whats best for Stand Off on Saturday

I remember that at the start of last season loads of people screaming for Addy to get a game at 6. He was picked in that position for the away game at Crusaders, and played so poorly there that he actually got substituted and didn't play again for the first team again for ages.

So we need to bear that in mind when talking about where to play Addy (who I agree, after last week, deserves to be in the team, or on the bench at least)

That said, I never want to see Paul Sykes in the Stand Off role ever again after his efforts there in the past. Unless he has somehow miraculously improved out of all recognition by heart will sink on Saturday if he is read out as the starting Stand Off.

Then there is Kearney, but I honestly don't think that Potter will move him from Full Back unless its absolutely unavoidable.

So, there isn't a good answer really - just the least worst of the available options

Another option would be Heath & Jeffries as a half back combination. Addy would therefore rotate between covering back row & hooker rather than half back.

Really been enjoying watching the Bulls on Sky recently, even if it is worrying some of my Bradford-based Leeds-supporting family.

Bradford are best priced at 2/1 to beat St Helens on Saturday. I like the look of the plus Eight on the handicap myself.

It's finally nice to have a squad (and a decent one at that) to choose from. We have so many injuries at the moment and the only real shortage we have for this weekend is at stand off. Everyone who has come in because of injury has played well.

Credit has to be given to Potter on his recruitment for this season because as of yet everyone has been good.

It's a big call who plays at 6 against Saints. Do you go with a change that causes minimum disruption to the team or a change that is best tactically? As I have mentioned, I would bump Kearney up to 6 and play Sykes at 1.

I will back to the boys to pick up their first points of the season at home but you never know when you're playing Saints.

What do you mean by that? So are you confident for a win this Saturday then?

Yeah I'm quietly confident. If we carry on playing like we have been over the past few weeks I think we could win but knowing Saints they could very well break their bad run against us which they have done before.

I've been looking forward going to watch the Bulls over the past few weeks, can't remember the last time I did!

To be fair they did play really well against Hull Kr, not giving up & fighting back to get the win. Fair play to ya's. Saints are bound to improve soon though surely.

Lomax is in the squad for us & i thought he was definitely injured. Weird.

The T&A claims Sykes is in line to play at 6 in the absence of Sammut.

Langley is hoping to shrug off his injury in time to play. Elima and Purtell both in the squad. Phil Jospeh drops out.

I think it will be a close game.
