If they'd said no to the RFL would they have caved in? Probably not. So start in 2018 then? Can't see the RFL doing deal with people that don't play ball.

As it is the new owners are happy to go along with everythjng the RFL want. What Bulls fans or anyone else want or think is a better solution was never going to happen.

If you don't like it blame the RFL. None of us wanted this wasted season where we're certs to go down.

If no one comes forward to buy the bulls at -12 they have no option but to change their plans as there is no Newco bulls team in the league.

I think they would have gone with one less team and made an extra place for the league below. That would have been fair.

I find it strange that HalifaxCougar would ignore a part of my long message. So in response to your suggestions of saying no to the -12 and 'demanding' a League One place:

The Bradford Bulls membership to the RFL was stripped when the club was liquidated. It was up to the RFL to give it back to the new owners. Chalmers and Lowe HAD to accept the Championship place because of the first two decisions, otherwise the RFL would not have allowed a membership to a Bradford club and therefore there would have been no Bradford club at all.

So not quite as simple as saying no and starting again in 2018. We would still have needed a membership from the RFL and they simply would not have given us it.

Are you telling me the RFL would have said no more RL in Bradford ever going forward? I still think you would have got in the bottom league in 2018.

On the basis that we would have essentially given the RFL a huge middle finger. And I don't know if you have any knowledge of sport (I happen to have a degree in Sport Development) but annoying the governing body is something which you really need to avoid. Especially one as inconsistent and stupid as the RFL.

And it would have made a joke of the RFL's fixtures for two leagues. Besides where does the capital come from to re-start in League One after a year out? As I stated before. We should have been in League One this season. This further backs the claim that the RFL are a set of muppets. Their laws clearly state a liquidated club must start from the bottom. Yet they ignored or bent their own rules. Something Bradford fans were not happy about.

It's sad isn't it? If Bradford doing badly was any kind of route to happiness for fans of our less illustrious neighbours, then you'd have thought they'd be happy by now. But it's never enough.
