Crookes owes a lot to the service he got from Lulia this season. I'm not knocking his finishing, because some of the tries he scored needed great hands and a smart finish, but I can't remember any of his tries being scored through individual play. Almost all of them were served on a plate for him by Keith's brilliance. Hull's centres aren't a patch on Lulia at the minute so it will be interesting to see how Jason goes for them.
Hopefully Kear plays outside Lulia next season and can keep free of injuries.

Crookes frustrated me during every game he played. Alright, he may have scored a couple of tries, but most were as a result of them served on a plate (a couple were pretty good finishes mind you).

The one thing that irritated me the most about this guy was his inability to challenge for the ball in the air (especially in attack). Every time a bomb went up, he gave away a penalty for tackling the man in the air. I may be wrong, but i almost think this was the outcome every time he was put in this situation!

I don't think he will be a regular in the Hull squad, IMO.

He will improve loads as all bulls players seem to do when they leave the club, not having a dig but hasn't anyone noticed that
Crookes made ainscough look like a amateur player IMO

Can't say I share the same view. I'd be happy to see Ainscough wearing RA&B next year.

Agree with most on here. Disappointing to see him go as it's been his best season at the club but he's not really shown himself to be indispensable and as for next season, any winger playing outside Keith Lulia automatically looks a better player, so it's hardly a critical loss.

Agreed, Ainscough is the type of player i want to see playing for us. His defence may not be all that but he gives us alot in attack and doesnt shy away from putting a good shift in every game.

Definately replaceable. For all his so said blistering pace, I never saw him score from 50 yards out like good wingers do. Not enough size for the modern game and like has been said made to look good by Lulia.

Am I the only one who notices how the young guns us RAB types sponsor come on a bundle, and go on to greater things in the game? Crookes has become quite a player and has plenty of improvement in him, the Burgess lads good enough for NRL teams. We can sure pick 'em.

My mrs has a thing about getting autographs, and even before this year, she's said "I'll have to stop getting coaches autographs, they always leave just after I do"

But she still went ahead and got Mick Potter's in Canet, before the Catalans match....

Well, she got Macca's as well, so some might say it works out for the best sometimes.....though I was mainly thinking about the strange connection between the players sponsored by RA&B and her autograph hunted coaches - as you say an 'escape goat' but not the only one

Not a massive loss tbh, I think Crookes has been robbing a wage for a while now.
