A couple of good tries and good plays, but defence wasn't good enough, effort levels were way down from last week and our kicking game was poor again.


Poor bench options by McNamara, didn't even use Addy so a waste of a bench spot when we could have used Crossley to help out as he overused Lynch again, even on his 1st game back.

Kearney and Menzies were excellent though, and Kearney's break was the highlight of the game.

Macca can't count past 3 with the Props and has been like that for 4 years. Hall and Worrincey can't be counted as Props as neither is effective there. And he does over use Lynch all the time. Very poor tactically with bench selection and use. It's criminal to leave somebody on the bench unused. If the ref sent somebody off early in and incorrectly we'd be calling for his head but that is in effect what we do when we leave a player on the bench. If he's gonna do that he might as well pick my wife as she could warm the bench as well as anybody!..

Gave away far too many penalties too.


I don't know how Chase didn't knock that on though? It looked obvious to me - even the couple of Cas fans near me thought so.

Did enough to win the game. Can't understand why he took Cain off the field. We lacked direction from dummy half as soon as he went off because Heath went to SH.

Lynch overused as Ewwen says. Halley, Hall and Kop were garbage as usual, Nero at fault for Cas first try. Left side a massive problem and IMO it's not the winger at fault mostly, all though having a useless heap doesn't really help.

Good efforts from the usual suspects, let down by the usual suspects.

Cant understand why nobody went for a drop with the scores tied and clock winding to an end.

The Bulls could certainly do with as many supporters as possible right now, but they could certainly manage without your 'support'. People have every right to be utterly cheesed off with today's performance, it was below acceptable.

However the fact that you couldn't wait to get on here, despite not even seeing the game says a lot about your character. I'll leave it at that, I know you can be a sensitive little flower.

It was shocking any positives were far outweighed by the negatives. Also once again the use of the bench was as baffling as ever not to use Addy at all was a sin in those conditions.

No arguments there. I was baffled why McNamara left Worrincy on so long when Addy has looked useful this year. At least he would have drove the ball forward with some purpose and he's tackled well IMO in the games he's played.

There is a few on here who are the just like Eddie who never go to games but post crap after crap when ever we lose.

Poor again. Lack of ideas, lack of commitment, lack of technique. Pathetic use of substitutions - a baking hot day and an unused sub. Why? Brilliant strategy. Cas were poor (no offence meant - I am sure most Cas fans would agree) they missed at least 8 points in kicks, dropped it a lot, etc, yet still made us look like the shambles we are. A better team (or a better performing Cas) would have posted 40 again easily. I am beginning to wonder why I bother going, the team obviously aren't bothered.

I went. You may not respect my posts but I do have two working eyes! We were dire. We were clueless going forward and pathetic in defence. Two tries in front of me for Shenton came from neither Halley or Nero being d to even try to challenge for the ball. And to have Addy on the bench and not use him smacks of insanity.
The player looked knackered about half way through the second half and they were totally out enthused throughout. I am beginning to wonder if they do actually want to win games anymore.

Might not always agree with your posts, but I respect them. And seems anyway that you are expressing the same opinion as others who went. Is this our worst ever losing run in SL? I honestly thought we should and would have won this one. Running out of games to have a decent shot at, let alone in, the playoffs. Can't all be down to the effect of the injuries? Hard not to feel concerned, reading the first-hand reports.

This equals are worst ever losing run which was last season.

I groaned when I heard the announcer only say Kopzcak's name (Out of the props) on the bench.

When one of our props is in his first match back from injury then the decision to go with 3 props is ridiculous, and to only use 3 of your bench players just screams of a coach who doesn't have a clue.


I'm beginning to feel the same way towards McNamara as I did towards the back end of last season. It looked like he'd sorted things out but after a good start we've gone back to the same old ways of a McNamara coached team. I hope we get a good coach in for next year (it would be quite hard to do much worse than Macca though) but I fear for England in the 4n, I really do!

Which one was that? One for our try. I thought it was knocked-on and will be watching the replay later on but can only assume that the linesman and ref thought it was pulled out - which I can sort of see why - and it was grounded after.

I was at the opposite side of the ground tbf, but it looked very suspicous. The ref will have had a much better view though, but I will be watching on the replays.

I understand your all dissapointed but i think the amount of fans you brought was good and in good voice aswell, I obviously don't watch you play week in week out, but on paper your a top team! but i just can't understand why your not firing.

Because we do idiotic things like give penalty after penalty away and then decide to leave a player on the bench without using him.

I do wish Macca would get into the real world and say it as it is rather than making crap comments, also if you pick a team then play them ALL not leave on the bench with a bottle factor 30 to get a tan.

They do not deserve anything at the moment. TBH, I would not go and watch them if they were playing in my back garden at the moment, the way this shower are "performing", never mind driving 250 miles to watch it.

Hottest day of season and Mac doesnt bother to use one of our subs. He does however persist with playing Kopcek (who never seems to break a tackle, just stumbles down when tackled) and Worrincy ( who was absolutely clueless with or without the ball). Neither of those forwards would get into another Super League team in my opinion, just not good enough. So basically we played yesterday short of 3 players on a boiling hot day as a result of decisions made by our Coach. I am really worried about our Club and the steady drift downwards in terms of quality and enthusiasm shown by some of the players that pick up my seaon ticket money.

I didn't see it so wont comment, but would be genuinely interested to hear from Macca why he didn't play a sub on a day like yesterday. Just saying he is clueless is not really an answer, there must be some thinking behind it (from Macca).
