| When you have dug yourself into a hole like the Bulls in the last few years - "moving on" is exactly what you need to do, and hopefully the team will start by putting in a good shift tonight and giving the fans something to cheer about.

| After last night's performance I hope Marc Green decides not to pursue the case. 6 points will make no difference and I would prefer him to use any money to improve the business. We need to spend the maximum allowed on the playing side and invest in the future by retaining Tong and a youth development structure.
If he is still aggrieved he has an alternative.Rather than risking the expense of court action he could just publish his case and supporting evidence and let all fans see his version of events. Obviously Red Hall ( and any other interested parties) would have the opportunity to comment/ dispute his account.
The crowd last night was in my opinion pretty remarkable when you consider the recent lamentable performances, being on Sky and a small away following. A higher crowd than London Wakefield Salford and Widnes achieved in their last home fixture . Only 500 less than the Giants had against Wigan
I think an average crowd of 4 to 4.5 K is achievable in SL2 which should give the Bulls a higher financial base than our new rivals next season. Whether it will be better managed is the key. All the Championship teams seem to be managed well and I fully expect them to use the increased Sky money in 2015 wisely.

| Odsal really doesn't cope well being only 20% full. I suspect we might well only see the main stand in use next season, which I'll hate because I really don't like being seated to watch rugby.

No, but, if we're only getting enough fans to fill the seats, why go to the expense of opening more of the stadium?

I wasn't arguing about the rationale behind only opening the main stand.

At long last a practical and sensible posting, this after several weeks of utter nonsense.

Phew--- after the compliment from Backwoodsman ( thank you friend) I then see FA as the next poster. Fully expecting a dressing down, I'm so relieved at my escape I shall open that special bottle of premium ale.

| I think FA is right about the Bulls being an attractive proposition for a decent championship player. With decent crowds, you should be the premier financial draw in that division. The main problem you will have is that attracting a good championship player who is currently part-time will be persuading him to give up his day-job. I think it was Danny Brough who said that he was better off as a part-time player with a full-time job than as a full-time professional player, until he really hit his straps.
I suspect your main chance is to attract decent young players from other super league clubs who can't get a first team slot but aspire to full-time rugby.
As for the High Court, as has been said, could be an expensive mistake, and even if you were successful, although you'll get your costs back, it would be a pointless victory if the six points still left you in the relegation slot.

Rubbish. There are two less super league clubs next year so there are loads of players around next year.

Not necessarily, the two clubs going down are likely to be fulltime next year and Featherstone and Leigh are also moving to full time from next season and paying the full cap. I read an article somewhere that Halifax are also planning a 'core' of full time players. So competition for players is likely to be greater than ever before even for superleague clubs where guys that might have otherwise have been moderately paid squad players may be able to pick up better deals in the divison below.
