Massive wake up call for the Bulls today. We played well for 5 minutes in the first half and then 6 minutes in the second half. I think we missed JPB, Ferguson and Purtell on the outside flanks.

Today's result will be a big reality check.

For a full time team i am surprised that our fitness isn't that much better, Batley and Whitehaven were not that much off our pace at the end of the day.

We will face much better sides in the CC if we progress. If we beat Workington I would be looking beyond the likes of Leigh to test some of players against seasoned SL players.

Davies, Addy, Ferguson, Mellor, Purtell, JPB, Blythe, Uaisele are all first team regulars and we still had a strong team out. Take seven players out of other teams and they'll be struggling.

With Whitehaven beating London today, it shows just because we're full time that we're not just going to be able to turn up and win.
