| TBH Tomkins could have had a few more tries had he not overplayed so much. One of his c0ck ups led directly to Sammut's try.
The thing that annoyed me most about yesterday has been identified by some other posters. In the first half we were still in it despite losing Gale and a couple of defensive howlers and some schoolboy stuff in failing to find touch twice. However we went in at half time still in with a shout.
We came out for the second half and were pretty abysmal. Whatever fight we showed in the first 40 had completely gone. Why? Just what had been said at half time? It's the sort of thing that used to happen under McNamara and now Potter.
I can accept losing to Wigan at home, especially without our only true playmaker but to concede so many points in 40mins is tantamount to giving up. We could've made it a more lot more difficult for Wigan and would have done with a bit more teamwork, pride and desire. What happened to the team that showed that at Cas? I guess we're just the same as last year where an occasional decent performance is shown amongst a bunch of frustrating and downright awful ones.

| One of my gripes from yesterday was our inability to make Wigan bring the ball out from their own line.
We always found a way to give them easy metres, penalty, bad defending etc...
When a bomb goes to the corner and your not able to get there to compete, why take the man out in the air and give away a penalty? just wait until he lands on the ground and flatten him. Then let them work their way off their line. Is it so hard to comprehend??
I think this happened 3 times yesterday!

Ironically your first false dawn last year was against a previously red hot Cas team.

Yep I had realised that. 2012 is looking all too much like 2011 already!

| Its a shame to see how much you have indeed fallen and that we can class you in the same group as the likes of Salford were we go into the game thinking weve basically already won. I wish for the days of going to Odsal again to face a big strong powerful Bulls side and expecting one of if not the hardest game of the season.
Regarding the game, I thought Sam, Finch and Tommy ruled it either side of half time and proved a little too much. Could have been more if Sam hadnt of been trying to be that little bit too fancy but rather in games like that than a game against Dire/Saints.
Felt sorry for the Bulls players near to the end, some decent players in there - but something just isnt quite clicking for you guys. Hope you can pull it together sooner rather than later.
Ps. How good was Sams pass for our last try? Wow.

| Always had a soft spot for Bradford and supported you in many finals, so not taking any pleasure seeing where you are at the moment.
You remind me a lot of Wigan circa 2005 and 2006 (70-0 and 75-0 in 8 days, the flirt with relegation and having too many players who aren't of the quality of a big club), a big fall after being one of the big boys. Sometimes you have to reach rock bottom before you can rise to he top again. You've certainly got the support to rise fast again but what I don't know is are there enough quality youngsters coming through the ranks like you've had in the past?
