Reminds me of the sort of signing we were making back in 2005 and 2006 when we were getting desperate to improve things. As we found out since the short term panic signings don't work and you need to build gradually for the future. We really got a helping hand in turning our fortunes around by signing Trent Barrett as the guy could basically play as a one man team and he was massive for us. It was a shame for you guys that the Orford signing didn't work out like that as if he'd hit his straps he could have carried you on his own for a couple of years whilst hopefully long term plans were being put in place.

Whats happening with Briggs? I was at his debut against Leeds and he looked to have good potential but i've heard little of him since.

He played got injured then had a real shocker against Salford. Potter doesn't rate him ATM. Sykes has been picked ahead of him recently.

And on jefferies signing I underwhelmed and disappointed, like with pretty much all our signings recenty, and most of then end up being as bad as expected unfortunately.

I don't want to say too much really until he's had a chance to play and prove himself. He has the ability as some have said, it's just whether he shows it. We are not the club we once were and can't compete with Saints who have made two big signings already, but we all know that. We have had some terrible luck with injuries and yes BJ is not a bad short term fix for our club and where we are at the minute. He is obviously not being brought here as part of any long term plan. My main worry is with all the injury woes we have had....is bringin someone in with a fairly bad recent fitness history what we need? Who knows...I hope he stays fit and sorts out our lack of creativity. If I'm honest I want to see him making sure the ball gets out wide a little more. A lot of teams are being caught out wide defensively this year...not just us (though we seem to be particularly bad out wide) and all it takes is some shifting of the ball. it would be nice to see us bring some dummy runners in too aswell.

If only I could win the lottery and help the club out...although that would mean playing it first!

Glad to see the club building for the future with signings to whet the appetite.

One day we will get one.

Quote: Blotto "I notice the Wakey fans aren't bothered by him coming here, just confirms what we already know, that he has the talent but lacks the application, still thats what could be said of the Bulls at present so he will fit right in, I'm sort of underwhelmed by this lets hope he proves us wrong for a change!'"

TBH, on his day he can change a game, but since his return to BV he has been dissapointing, the only reason BJ has gone to Bulls is to retain his SL status, he was offered a chance to go to Quins when we in Admin but refused, TBH we have some good young British half's in Wildie, and Hyde not forgetting Gareth Moore, so to get BJ off the wages bill is a Billy Bonus.... 13.86474609375:10
