Diskin's a good player, and can play at Loose forward or second row, but he's not an impact player, he just adds a bit of intelligence to your game.
He was our better hooker this year, so why we are letting him go, i really don't know.
But we have adequate cover coming through, good luck to him though.

I hope not. He's ok there as a makeshift, but if he was a regular choice there, I don't think I'd be particularly confident.

Depends. I assume if that's what Potter intended that he'd have a full pre-season of training. Besides, its no more ludicrous that Brian Smith turning Robby into a scrum half just to win a bet! (Or so it is alleged)

i'd have him bk at Hull FC, move berrigan to centre and godwin and houghton to share the hooker role

Disco will do a good job for you, but he's not the player he was prior to his bad leg injury. We've had great service from him over the years, and I certainly don't begrudge him leaving for a 3 year deal.

Apparently, he's had his best years now and he's coming to us for a retirement pay-off.

Wasn't JP 28 when he moved to Leeds? He's done pretty well! Even if his best years were still at the Bulls.

I don't think he's coming just for the ££ or the 3 year deal. If he does come, it could be a combination of :

a) him being peeved that an Aussie (yes, I know, a very good one) has taken his place, even after all these years of loyal service

b) the rumours about it not being rosey behind the scenes at headingley are true

c) he has faith in Potter and the Bulls revolution!

Cummins who has spent his whole career at Leeds is shown the door (no matter what anyone says) and makes negative comments about McClennan and then despite Buderus' frankly awful performances at the end of the season, particularly in the CC final, Diskin leaves despite having signed a new contract.

Blokes have got over catching their missus playing away quicker than you're letting this go.

sounds like your making stuff up! Any proof of these words? Leeds don't win a trophy so there must be infighting! Or a more realistic appraisal, Leeds wernt good enough with the available players they had.

it's not such a big shock about disco when you think your assistant coach is his brother in law. Seems like jobs for the boys to me. 3 years over 1 year at 29 a no brainer to me
