Why would it be a handful at best. With promotion and relegation likely to be introduced at the end of 2013 they could easily be back in super league after a year away. |

Because there's the RFL's option to remove a club's franchise. Therefore I'd imagine that all SL players contracts have a nullification clause should that happen.
If not, then the RFL would have to offer dispensation to the club or would be in a position to force a club to break the RFL's own rules. Which would likely mean an end to the salary cap all together as it IS a restrictment of trade and only allowed to exist due to a gentlemen's agreement between all clubs. Which would mean SL becomes even more lop sided as the clubs with the rich owners throw money at all the best players leaving the scraps for the rest of the league and we end up in a situation like we had in the 80's where only 1 club wins anything. |

Doesn't mean the club put one in peoples contracts, after all we achieved a b license in the last round, what was to make them think they'd ever be in a position of being relegated. |
