Robbie isn't at the Bulls anymore, he never had any money. Irvine is employed up at the Bulls - he's not a money man, same goes for McFarlane.

I'm looking at it from the point that Chalmers was at Salford and therefore has brought Russ Mc over with him as a stead pair of hands, he knows how he works and that he trusts. If you are investing your own money and reputation (something he wasn't at Salford) then you put in the right people around you. I've thought about starting up on my own in the past and if I ever did I have a list of names I've worked with in the past that I would be going back to and trying to cherry pick... Chalmers has likely just done the same.

Russ is a sound guy and so is Damian Irvine (pretty sure he has absolutely zero links to Salford) and with these two in place I do feel confident in the future of the club. £500k for a start up of this size and profile... I personally think that's a snip.

However, as someone has said previously its something that can only be accepted and understood in the immediate circumstances of the liquidation. If this becomes the trend then that's when it all becomes a concern.

On the bright side, at least the losses haven't been covered up this time around!!!

I suppose we could say it doesn't matter who is covering the loss, as long as someone is.
I just think that whoever it is has ensured the reestablishment of the club we support and deserves some credit for it. However if they wish to remain quietly in the background then fair enough.

I like getting new signings but just as pleasing to me is when we are rewarding our fantastic young lads with full-time contracts.

He meant that he had signed for them for the 2021 season but forgot to mention that bit.

There is a real feeling that we are signing up our best players especially the younger ones and bringing in mostly better players. Some, we won't know till they play a few games such as the winger Foggit Johnson - I think that is him.

Good news regarding Keyes. Looks like we are being savvy in signing up PT/FT (i.e not losing good PT players to bring in standard FT players) Michellea, Keyes, Pickersgill will all be better being FT.
