But they never would have lost is the point. They were so good, you could have nuked 'em and they would still have won. I once saw a TV game they played where they were all heavily sedated, bound hand and foot, blindfolded and their feet were nailed to the floor, and they still won by 180 points. It was impressive let me tell you.

Same here but the gameplan versus Wakey won't get us many wins as we effectively ignored our backline. Hopefully we'll make proper use of our backs in weeks to come, especially when we have Purtell and Lulia together in the centres. It'd be barmy to trundle it up the middle with them in the side.

... during which time the diagnosis seems to have been, er, 100% confirmed, and the only additional factor is that the subsequent scan revealed that sadly the injury correctly diagnosed was of a severity that requires an op.

Maybe the Bulls med/physio staff do have a clue after all.

That's a bit radical on here - actually claiming someone at the club has a clue...must be wrong, we ought to get rid..

So a 6-8 week layoff has now increased to 8-10 after it has been assessed properly. Whilst its never an exact science, I'd rather wait until its been looked at properly before a timescale is given. Anyway I'm just thankful that the fears of 3 months out have been lifted. Let's hope it's closer to 6 than 8.
