Good young British scrum half, in the England Knights squad, i just dont think he is what we need. We needed a experianced 7 to lead us around the pitch alongside either Briggs or Jeffries. Anyway weve signed him lets see how he goes, he could be a Danny Brough for us. It would be interesting to see a combination of Jarrod Sammut and Luke Gale, i really hope the Sammut rumour comes off.

I was all ready prepared for it as i stated on the announcement thread.

I don't know a heap about Gale if I'm honest, I just hope Potter has done his homework and found us a good un.

I was hoping for some real quality and proven players coming in to the squad for next year. Quality over quantity. I guess it is still early days but I don't expect our current signings to nudge us any nearer towards competing for Silverware.

Luke Gale will do the offensive stuff and he will do it well, he is a very talented footy player IMO, he will take you around the field, will put players into holes, he also has a good kicking game.

IMO he's a very good signing for the Bulls and he won't be costing you the earth either, the potential is still there for a half back pairing of both Briggs and Gale

His defense does need to be addressed, and I'm sure that it can be

Well, Gale has scored 160 points this season. Or to put that another way, if he'd scored those points for us we'd have a positive points difference.

Would only be true if he also set up the same number of tries as Herbert has. Or didn't kick the ball to Wire all day on the home game I guess!

As a Wire fan living in London i've watched my fair share of Quins so as a neutral i can say i've seen Gale play quite a few blinders and i like him, always have him in my dream team too.

I personally think he's underrated and i like him, yeah he's a bit light in defence but after todays game against Wire he wouldn't look out of place in that respect.
