Fev seemed to rate him so obviously good enough for mid/upper championship. Will take Laithwaite's spot due to his unfortunate retirement.

Second time he's broke the same leg so can only imagine its too big a risk doing a third time. Real shame as he was a good prospect and gave everything when he was on the field.

Farrell is a decent player but his lack of size has always been his downfall. Just don't think he's big enough to get any higher than ok/decent championship player.

We're not going to set the world on fire with this signing but adds depth to an area we are short on and gives Garside/Storton some competition for game time.

Just looking at the squad list for next season. We have 25 players who I think are the genuine first team with another 12 who are more likely reserve/future prospects. Therefore there cannot be too many names left to announce.

Its still expected that Garside and Chisholm will re-sign. Do we think there are any other names up Kear's sleeve?

I fully expect Garside to stay. As for Chisholm I wouldn't be surprised if he's had offers from some of the lower level SL clubs so negotiations may be ongoing. I would expect any further signings might depend on the outcome of those talks as if he went it'd leave a gap in the halves but also free up a fair amount of salary.

Has Misi Taulapapa got a club sorted for next year yet?
Someone mentioned we were in for him near the beginning of this thread. Kear said we had two signings left - a centre and a second rower - before we announced Farrell.

So that's just leaves a centre...
