We have always played them 3 times, even when we were champs!

Looking on the positive, I think its as good a start to the season as could be hoped, especially compared with Leeds (at Cardiff) and Wigan (home) last season

Catalans tend to start slowly, presumably due to their high player turnover. They don't usually seem to get going until 5-6 games into the season. A home game against them at a cold and frosty Odsal gives us a great chance to get off to a flyer.

Then Castleford away is a fixture that we've really got to be targeting as a game that we can win. They were on a real slump at the end of last season and haven't exactly set the world on fire with their recruitment. Again, this is a winnable game (or should be)

I know we have the propensity to blow it, but surely we've got to be looking to get off to a two-from-two winning start?

I have no clue beyond that if it will work exactly the same with recent flavours of Outlook as it does with mine (2000 and 2003), but even if not, I'm sure choosing the fields at import would be straightforward.

While we have had some lean times and Leeds did fluke the champions title, how come some of you aren't too embarrassed to basically state how unfair it is we have to play the big boys an extra time? Have you no self-respect? They may be the "champions" but they hold no fears for me. Bring 'em on! It's one extra chance to screw 'em over, for which give thanks.

I am so bored of playing Leeds. As soon as it became the biggest derby in Super League, the RFL went overboard on it. I am not surprised it does not get the crowds anymore to see it.

But we won't though will we? We'll be in front all the game and lose it in the last five minutes to a mistake/penalty try/refereeing error(delete as applicable).

However it seems that our Sept fixture in 2012 clashes with a big event in Perpignan. A World Journalism Conference or something! People struggling to find rooms available! I'd probably recommend staying outside of Perp anyway, there isn't a great deal there to do for more than a day or so.

I am happy about the fixtures however I would have liked to see us get a club in Lancashire or Yorkshire because the first game would be a better atmosphere but doesnt matter. Think it will be a hard first game for us.

A fortuitous fixture list IMO.
If Saints,Wigan,Wire,Leeds and Hudds are the top teams in 2012 then we have only one contiguous fixture with them all : in July when we play both Leeds and Wire away.
This in no way demeans the other teams we have to play, but it might give the coach some ease in resting certain players between key matches.

Crusaders beat us by more than Leeds ever have at the Magic Weekend. Only team we have beaten is Wakey so let's add Leeds to that list in 2012.

Catalan away for the last game. Lol the one time we have them at home first we get them away last. Wtf should be played in July/August -_-

They play London at Headingley on the Monday (Kick-Off 20:00).

Its a feable attempt to try and stop Sinfield being ed before kick off
