TBF there was a troll from Wakey on a thread somewhere on here saying we would be signing players like Danny Sculthorpe. At least we thought he was a troll at the time.

If anyone comes on here with news that we're re-signing Ash Lumby and Errol Johnson I'm not going to be happy.

Reardon and Sculthorpe are hardly going to get Bradford back in the top 4, if there isn't a great deal off money get kids don't get mediocrity.

McNamara is clueless thought the signing of Jeffries, Tadulala etc were bad signings these 2 top that recruitment drive.

We seem to be hearing that rather too much about our signings! That in itself says something and I don't think it can be all blamed on us being too negative either.

We are signing more players of the type that we wouldn't have really considered 5 or 6 years ago. We're increasingly gambling on players with histories of injury problems, off field problems, those with unfulfilled potential or all three. As has been said in the past when you do that without the spine of the side being of top quality you get poorer performances. This is borne out by the club finishing in worse positions in the table each year since 05.

I know the reasons for this, it all comes down to money. It's just depressing to have the fact rammed home. Of course I'll still be there next year but I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it.

The Reardon signing I could take because I thought this is a good bit of business and with a couple of class signings the squad will be improved. We aren't going to get those class signings though are we.

Time after time I see the dross and cast offs of (with all due respect) mid table at best Super league clubs sign for the Bulls and time after time I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well not any more Sculthorpe is a crap signing at 30 he's never done anything and never will. I'm not going to give the bloke a break because I know deep down that come June next year we will be adrift and I will be stood on the terrace at Odsal watching the Bulls scrum down after knocking it on on their own 20metre line after Sculthorpe has attempted to off load it in his own half.


I will of course be there no matter what the squad is but personally I can't see how we can compete.
