Leeds is a suburb of Bradford, and not in any way in our town centre. So making recommendations taht are not in the town centre is stupid nad, as the rest of the thread shows, also a load of bollox as the OP will have a great night out anywhere that's been recommended.

No, definitely Hull. His folks were Robins but he married a black and white - it's classed as a mixed marriage in Hull...I say he's a United fan but he spoils the image a little by actually having been to Old Trafford a couple of times..though probably not as often as I have over the period up to 2005.

Unlike you, I didn't know him personally but despite the fact that judged out of time, some of his views and occasional bits of his routine were reprehensible, overall what he was, was a brilliant entertainer and comedian.
