Interesting comments from Phil Caplin and John Sharp on radio Leeds tonight on way home, about culture and ability to recruit and improve players after they join the club. I have struggled to think of one player we have improved in the last 2 years. This next few months are pivotal for the future of the once all conquering Bradford Bulls.

The sad thing is, the present incarnation of the club has made great strides in developing the progression of youngsters, shame we wasted so much cash on so many duds, whilst ignoring what we had a crying and obvious need for.

Agreed a fantastic resource for future players for Hudds, Cas, Hull et al, good way of managing their costs to get some mug to pay for youth development.

Met some lovely Fev fans today. I was stood with one bloke all game, and then almost missed my train back from Cas for talking to three others in quick succession.

Well played Fev. Your guys controlled the game from start to finish. Your pack was very impressive. Griffin and Mullally coming on had a much bigger impact that the lightweights on our bench. With all the players we have on our books I have no idea how we ended up with that team today. Absolutely no go forward from anybody.

This is the worst I have ever felt as a Bradford fan. Losing a Grand final or Challenge cup final is terrible but you have to be a good team to get to the final in the first place. Not being good enough to finish in the top four of the Championship and whatever consequences may follow due to it is as bad as it gets.

Nah.... being relegated to and not getting promoted from the third teir of rugby league; with hope, faith and confidence of returning to the big time all but removed because of a franchise system that excluded clubs was as low as it gets....
20 years outside of Sl existing until the last couple of years on next to bug ger all is as low as it gets.
