Much better than anything we have to run with at the moment, but not the "world class" some seem to be saying. No disrespect to Cas (a club I respect more than most), but he would hardly be there if he was. Be happy with him in the team, but doubt he'll be going anywhere except maybe to Saints.

He's 24 and not too far away. Given his selection for NZ Maori recently and the reluctance of the NZRL to pick any UK based players except Tommy it's a clear indication of his pedigree.

International teams dont ignore world class players because of where they play.

I would argue that if Chase was World Class then he would not have left to come over here to play for Castleford and he would be plying his trade in the NRL.

I have two points to make on this as i see fit...
Danny Mcguire has improved considerably in past few years and is now more than a try scoring machine but he has no kicking game, and his passing game is not upto scratch. Chase creates as many as he scores which is why i would class him as better than mcguire. Not to say that I do not rate Mcguire but he would not have got in side above Eastmond and tomkins nationally and was not long back shunned for richie myler.

He is a grafter,good all round game and will always give 100% but to be world class i think is jumping on the aussie coming to England must be better than what we have train again!!
I think Half backs need to have a little of everything in their game but most importantly organising and creativity for those around them. Kicking game at least pref long and short, passing again long and short, guile, instinct, cheek, irritability factor and patience.
I look for more than ability to go themselves,pace and support play. Hey ho but that is personal opinion


Oh and it is ok pointing out ennis,farrah and gidley but Berrigan played centre when he did play for oz. Berro is a better hooker than ennis mind, love ennis but he is just confrontational and nothing special.
