I wouldnt wish for anyone to get injured, but i would'nt have Sykes in the 17.

I wondered when Sykes would be mentioned. I just hope he isn't crucified on here and made the scapegoat for today's loss.

I doubt he would of chosen his 1st game of the season to be playing 6 against the SL Champions either. Especially in a game where we struggled to make yards and give him space to work in. He's not a stand off but then we already knew that from last year.

Sykes can't pass a ball properly, every pass he gave the receiving player had to jump to catch it.

I think we had a poor share of the penalties, touch judge coming on to disallow tries but then missing other things to penalise Wigan, it may just be me but everything was going wigan's way. Am I blaming the ref, no not really and i'm not surprised we lost with our two half's being injured but for me that didn't feel like the scoreline it ended up at... maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic at the 15,000 attendance.

Wigan converted their possession into tries, something we just didn't do....but we'll sort that out I'm sure, I think MP's as other people have pointed out needs to review a couple of performances and change a few people in and out...Sibbet looks a liability, and Sykes is no half back

If everyone was fully fit he probably wouldn't be.

He was poor - but he's not a 6. He gave 100% and you can't ask for much more than that.

Lets hope it's only the minority who will condemn him. His effort when playing out of position should be applauded.

I think it was made very clear today that a Sykes-Kearney half back combination just isn't going to work, neither was simply creative enough in my opinion.

Why do coach's insist on playing Sykes at 6 when quite clearly he doesnt have the skill set to play such a cruical position. I would have liked to see Addy start at 6 or put Ah Van in there and bring Ainscough in onto the the wing.

Its not the end of the world and who here expected us to win either of our first 2? I know I certainly didn't! A new team, injuries to key players and a new coach.

Time to focus on Crusaders and getting our first win of the season!

Lets hope Herbert is back next week. And also that Bryn won't be put in at Loose!

But as everyone has pointed out he's no 6, so why the hell hasn't Potter learnt this? He can't have failed to notice before.

I very much doubt Potter will play Cain. Quite simply put at the fans forum, he said Cain just isnt big enough yet to play super league and he requires more development before getting a chance!

Beggars can't be choosers, when both halves are out any team would struggle to fill both

Potter's got his hands tied with both halves imo. If he plays a youngster, he risks overexposing them and they could take a major confidence knock. If he plays somebody out of position they won't be up to scratch. We'll be okay once Herbert is back next week.

We need some creativity in there though.

He said he isn't big enough for the rigours of SL week in, week out. But he played well in the friendlies (I know, not near the intensity of SL) and one game to see how he plays wouldn't be too much of a risk.

We don't know Herbert is back next week. God I hope so though.

From what I hear, he could have played today but he didn't want to be risked, and rightly so. He should be in next week.

If herbert aint fit next week would be good to see Addy get a chance.
