Previous disciplinary issues are a worry and he's never really impressed me.

BUT he is now a bulls player and I will wait to see how he goes for us before I get depressed and think about slating him.

So we sell our best player, receive a six figure fee, and all we bring in is Reardon and Sculthorpe??

TBH I don't normally bag players but this signing is plain awful. I don't need to see what he can do because I'm fully aware of it already. He's unlikely to change his spots aged 30 is he?

Sculthorpe's been at a load of clubs in the past and not once looked like stopping any of his bad habits such as ill discpline or needless errors. I've always seen him as a weakness in any side he's played for. Sure he can offload but IMO it's like signing the e version of Solomona - the one that was lazy, made terrible offloads to nobody and gave away daft penalties. Add to that his unfortunate injury and illness record and I'm seriously wondering if McNamara's taken leave of his senses!

A 2 year deal is 2 years too long. We'd have done better to save the cash.

Only yesterday I was reading through the signings thread and thinking this is all very well but these are just confirmations of what we know. I want a surprise.

I would have preferred a nice surprise if I'm honest though.
