Over on totalRL, where all the Championship fans seem to congregate, they seem to think all we have going for us is Gaskell. They totally overlook the rest of the squad, in my opinion we have the best forwards along with Leigh, one of the best hookers in O'Brian and most importantly, strength in depth. I'm hoping we put a big score on them just to prove a point.

To be fair, if we're thinking of the same posts then it's actually fev fans who are saying that about Gaskell. One fev fan in particular seems to be a little bit in love with Gaskell after his performance at their place the other week.
Most of the Batley fans posting on there are expecting a pasting on Sunday.

I was talking fans in general rather than Batley fans but I wasn't the clearest.

I think that's one Fev fan and am not sure I'd take his ramblings too seriously. Yes Gaskell had a terrific game against us but you outplayed us anyway, we were really sub-standard that day both in attack and defence and it wasn't altogether surprising we made ten (yes ten!) changes to our starting line-up the following week. Some of the tries we let in against you were very soft, we defended much better this week against Halifax although to be fair they had territorial domination but very few ideas in attack.
