I think it is very clever of Leeds, by making them loan players they don't have to announce them as DR players before the 8s and are able to recall them after 4 weeks if required, and the 4 weeks cover this week and next week (CC semis) meaning that at worst they would only be unavailable to Leeds the first 2 weeks of the 8s. Get the feeling that Hethington is covering all the bases to make sure Leeds don't mess up the middle 8s.

By the way Leeds get 0p out of a Bradford v Leeds or Fev v Leeds game given that they will be away regardless of whether Leeds finish 9th or 10th (this assumes that Batley beat Swinton on Sunday which I think is likely).

The point I am making is that the Bulls fans are simply not going to pay to transfer into a stand when it is obviously a stunt to get £2 extra via the back door. Had the price of the tickets been increased by £2 in advance i'd not have flickered an eyelid... your club has to mmilk this game for all its worth and I get that. But to do it sneakily is wrong and bang out of order.

Hunslet stuck prices up on tickets last year and so have other clubs (Batly increased the cost of pies if i remember correctly.. fair play I say.

But don't think its not going to cause a problem on Sunday, mostly for your fans. Last year I was one of main who switched ends at half time and it caused not end of grief to the Fev regulars who treat the stand behind the sticks their home. They were not best pleased when a small handful of us stood there so they are not going to be happy this Sunday are they?

Unlike yourself, I have no bad will towards opposition fans (even Leeds) so lets just hope its a good game all round and let the best team win!!!

With the squad announced our pack are going to need to show some serious guts and fight to get a win and halt them down the middle. Something I don't think we've seen enough of this season which worries me. On the other hand Gaskell and Chisholm could potentially be the controlling and exciting partnership we've been looking for all these years now
