I thought Godwin's spell in the second half was key for us. He made a huge effort to get out of dummy half and our play there was much smarter, we went from being totally predictable to pulling the Wigan ruck defence around. We got some momentum and then by the end looked by far the more threatening team.

NB. Just a thought i had, if we has not let deacon go & therefore not signed Ox & signed walker instead, i dont think we could have won that game last night.

Worrincey (almost put Godwin in there simply for showing the Wiggin forwards what a pair looks like but I'm putting the Worrlord in until he has a decent game)

Langley Not sure how anyone can pick anyone else for No.1, he was everywhere!
Orford Superb second 40 mins, however I am sure he'll admit it wouldn't have been possible without a much improved 40 mins from the pack.
Wagga Some smart play from Godwin and some excellent runs.

Deacon also wouldn't have been on the other side kicking the ball against his own player to give us the ball further up the field for an accidental offside

Langley - Was absolutley outstanding

Changed my mind completely after re watching on tv

Going to stick with Orford and Langley but switching Godwin in.

Menzies still had a top game, as did Scrutes but also going to give Worrincy a mention as allowing Roberts through aside, his running was pretty good and showed some promise. This is a mention, not a whole hearted advocation, he needs to put his shoulder in big time. As with one other poster, would rather see Donaldson in.

1. Langley - Tore Wigan a new pipe.
2. Orford - Strong as an 'OX' for his two tries.
3. Whitehead - Workrate and heart is superb.

We're gonna have some backrow in the next few years.

It's his temperament that has impressed me as much as anything. He seems totally unfazed starting in what was a big game, a very cool head on young shoulders.
