I don't see why not.

But bear in mind that the more established the player is, the more chance there is of him not being available.

I'll just create a list from the votes of every player in order, and then can try for the top one. If not available, try next most votes, etc etc.



Personally, I prefer the option of going with the up and coming players who haven't broken through yet. I think that's the best way to help the club as we're potentially sponsoring someone who may not have got a sponsor anyway. But everyone has their own preferences and if everyone is contributing the same amount, it's only fair to let everyone give their preference. Some would prefer to sponsor a bigger name player apparently.


6 Different players have received votes so far (if we include the twins as one, which will no doubt infuriate them!). Although one of those 6 is Rangi Chase

From what Wigs said last year, the more established and well known the player is, the less chance you have of sponsoring them. That's about all we know really.

Although I believe we would have first option on the Twins due to sponsoring them last year.

The club have just confirmed only Rangi Chase is left.

When is the closing date likely to be on this. I have a mate plodding round Aus with a backpack who will be keen but doesn't arrive back till 22nd of this month.

Shall we say 1st December and box it off for Christmas?

Sounds fair to me. I'm hoping to make the next Bullbuilder meeting to give my thoughts on the highlights (sorry the last wire one never happened by the way folks, technical problems) so if I do I'll hand over cash then if thats ok Mark? If I can't make that I'll paypal it.

I might have to chip in for Bullseye by the looks of it. Again.

If 1st December is cut off for that, shall we say that's the deadline for voting for who we sponsor too?

Considering the article on the T&A website, are the spare funds (if there are any) going to be donated to Bullbuilder?

I'd be happy with that, and we know it's going to be put to good use!

I was hoping there'd be agreement on this, does anyone object if the excess funds go towards the BullBuilder appeal?
