Arundel is a good centre, definite SL quality and IMO better than what you've got. Quick, good feet and can find a gap.

Pitts is a very good 2nd rower with excellent defence and very good hands for a forward. Can play prop, but if you lack size, he's not your man.
Two very good signings for you, and although they're initially on loan I reckon both would be available permanently.

Interesting. I've been thinking that a method of signing someone permanently for us may well be via an initial loan spell. That way they can sell themselves to the club and visa versa. Try before you buy!

Both too good to be at Donny (with all due respect). I believe their's a quality centre in Arundel waiting to be unleashed and with Pitts 100% reliable and real good grafter.

Two players i wouldn't have let go and we (FC) haven't really given a fair go in the side.

Pitts was very good last week albeit against a poor London side.

I have argued the case for Arundel on our website but many seem quick to write him off. Granted he's been injury prone but i see enough there to think he will become a good player.

Certainly be watching with interest.

Arundel will be back at FC at the end of the season, he's on far too good a contract (legacy of Bombers contract negotiations) to make a permanent move elsewhere.

Strange comment from FC concerning Pitts and Arundel – Pitts to add speed and power to the front row but Arundel to add competition in the ¾s.
Surely he needs to add completion on the field. This continual addition of players, who always get chosen to play must be seen by the last season’s squad as demoralising and undermining their confidence.
It’s OK to bring in much needed players for the positions where we are lacking players but just for the sake of creating competition within the existing squad. Head in the cloud thinking or does it point to a greater problem(s) within the team.

I'd say that getting twa#ted by 70 or 80 weekly would be top of the demoralising and confidence list, and none of the players who took part in those debacles have any right to say a word. If we play all the new lads as well as the old lags, then with 20 on the field we could maybe manage to keep the deficit to under 50. How good would that feel, to lose by less than 50? Maybe if they issue Kearney with a Gatling gun it could even be -40
