I stopped reading when I read that, coming back from 2 serious knee injuries is an achievement and is very good in defence.

| Coming back from 2 serious knee injuries fair enough but he's still a waste of space. Addy and Bateman both offer more at Loose Forward, hell even Langley offers more there and he's a good defender. Given the choice I'd sooner have Addy or Bateman there than Donno.

Totally agree with you Donaldson may not be as creative with ball in hand but at least he knows how to tackle. When he was subbed after 20 mins he was our best man IMHO He was driving the ball in and tackling his heart out. Addy falls off too many tackles and Chev seems to be able to tackle from the rear or the side but is too easily stepped round head on. Why oh why wasn`t Gale on from the start? Disco is too slow now (surely it`s his last season) young Obrien is a better bet. But Wigan were by far the best team I`ve seen this year They didn`t need the clown Roby`s help. But at least we kept goin I thought it was going to be 60 or 70 points stuffing at one point.

| In regards to Donaldson, I don't have any complaints, he tackles his heart out, gives it all every time he plays.
Having Addy at LF would bring advantages (attacking kicks, etc), but some big disadvantages too (not exactly the best tackler).
With the game today, I couldn't complain at the effort from the players (which is all I ever want to see), Wigan deserved to win, think the scoreline slightly flattered them, 15-20 points as opposed to 30 may well of been fairer.
Not going to talk about Roby.

| Wigan were a class above no two ways about that but at least 3 of their tries could have been stopped by the inside defender.

| I must admit I agree regarding Diskin, I hope Cummins gives O'Brien his chance next year. With another 50% cut in tv money the playing budget will be tight and Diskins wage would be better spent on other areas of the squad.
Also what has happened to the form of Lulia in 2013? He hasn't played particularly badly but he hasn't found the form from last year yet. Nowhere near as dangerous with the ball in hand. He certainly isn't playing like somebody who is desperate for a new deal, or is it just me?

Donaldson was superb in defence. He was one of our best players until we went off, should have been Walker who was subbed.
Don't get how Langley offers more, works hard but wasn't dominant enough in the tackle, plus he needs to stop touching the ball twice every set, when we were on their line he took the ball in twice and stopped all our momentum.

| Donno is a tackling machine, he isn't creative, but you look at his tackle counts, one of best in squad!

| We were poor today, and Wigan were good, refereeing is not easy unless you are called Tim Roby then you can make it up as you go along

| Well we were stuffed in the first half. Wigan are well drilled but we gave them so much possession and position that it was inevitable they'd score plenty.
Second half we tried less panic rugby and as such made more of a game of it. Of our team I thought Kear was my man of the match. He was solid under the kick and ran the ball with enthusiasm. For Wigan their forward pack got them on the front foot and the backs captalised. Farrell looks quality this season.
I was a bit disappointed with the amount of wrestling and messing about at the PTB. I don't want to see rucks at 100mph but it was a joke at times. There were also plenty of high shots and sly knees in the tackle from various Wigan players which was a shame, as they're good without having all that negative niggling stuff.
Roby didn't show any reason why he deserved such a big game. He was clearly out of his depth.

Bradford's messing about at the PTB and offsides kept the score down and so be grateful for the ref!

It is the one eyed biassed Bradford supporters who are the funniest! I couldn't quite see what colour Wigan were playing in because they were constantly covered in players wearing white!

One of the biggest things that contributed to our losing today was Wigan's speed around the ruck. The quick PTB's which we allowed you to do tore us apart in the first half... so how we were laying on is anyone's guess. I wish we had been a little longer.
Wigan slowed down our PTB's although that didn't matter too much when Diskin was on as he did that himself.

If you are a comedian (which you obviously purport to be), I wouldnt shell out to see you. Every one of our play the balls took 10 minutes as Wigan hung on for dear life, riding, rolling and p**sing about. A legacy from the Maguire wrestling style which the fat miserable gibbon has taken to the next level. Also, after the game, cummins reported a lot of facial injuries which came from the non stop grapple tackling from Wigan.
Don't get me wrong, Wigan were by far the better team, who completely deserved the win, but to call us out for holding down is as funny as a Lenny Henry Gig!
