| Henry Paul or Ellery Hanley.. Henry was class in everything he did. But Hanley was perhaps the greatest player I have ever seen..maybe of all time to play the game...Hanley just gets my vote..

| Henry Paul is without a doubt one of the best players I have seen in their prime.

Big Joe
The Volcano
Danny Gartner
I loved Anderson but Joe's shot on Senior which changed the entire course of the season just swings it for me.

| Quote: daveyz999 "Out of Anderson and Vagana i'd probably argue Anderson. It's a shame he left when he did, he still performed at the top level for a few years later.
Looking at the way they played, Anderson did break tackles for fun. I'll always remember the hand off against Connerly when we played Leeds.'"
I think the move was good for Ando. He wasn't playing at anything near his best when he left and only went as the then management thought he was the weakest Prop (allowing for his age, more than likely, as well as performance) and they wanted to bring someone else in. The fresh scene and challenge worked for him though and as you say he was still playing well a few years later.
My favourite Ando moment was the photo which appeared in the press, in full colour in some, of him bursting through some tackles and a ref, looking terrified, was running to get out of his way. A classic.

| Fairbank was a monster that people were afraid of. Peacock was awesome for us but I'd rather take Fairbank. Beast.

| Great player though he was, Fairbank never excelled at international level. Largely because the Wigan pack stood in his way I think.

| Withers ahead of Spruce, his support play was some of the best I've seen.
Harris over Summers. If you leave all the off field shenanigans out of it Harris "on" the field was a better player, even after he'd lost his pace.
Forshaw or Brad Mackay?

| Robbie the x factor, on and off the field
Vagana not sure what but had something extra
LV loved TV but Vainikolo was one of the best ever
Danny Gartner solid, reliable, classy
Peacock led an awesome pack
Withers class act, amazing support
Harris even not at his very best with us, still better than summers
Forshaw just cos he did it over years, Mackay was awesome but only saw him 1 year
Hape or Newlove?????

Mmm, tough one. I'll go for Micky Withers, though I'd take Sir Keith, in his pomp, over either.
Brian Noble or Jimmy Lowes?
