| I think the team would welcome him, it would probably take there performance levels up a notch. Even so early on, i reckon we need a couple of fresh faces, even with all the signings we made.

the physio would have noticed if it was "broken".....like at the end of the game heath was walking on it....and it was ligament strains from what i remember ?
slight difference there.
ive heard numerus times that the physio is not up to scratch from whithin the club...now surley they know better than you ori ..people who are working with him practically every day

| tbh we should have kept menzies...he put his heart and soul into every game he wore the RAB and was proudto wear the shirt...should have kept him and played him left centre instead of signing walker as he has been a waste of space

Rubbish.
You can walk on a broken ankle, depends on what you've broken and how. Sometimes it takes an x-ray to spot a break. Other times you can be totally unable to walk and only sprained it.

Shows how much you know then. My strong understanding re Heath, from a pretty conclusive source, was that the club staff called it right. It was A&E called it wrong sand said it was a break. It was a second opinion at hospital that backed the original club diagnosis.
But lets all believe and spread rumours, eh?

| What exactly have they seen in his SL performances so far to think he's worth paying a wage to?
This just smacks so much of desperation it's actually quite embarrassing.

| Avoid him seriously! The pack isn't the serious problem and neither is publicity!

You think? I think we were already a tough Prop short going into this season and the loss of Langley, Scruton and Elima has left us seriously weakened. Elima and Scruton are going to be missing for a many weeks yet and I'm beginning to worry about whether Langley will last the season even when he returns.
I'm not 100% convinced that Mason is the answer but to say the pack isn't an issue just isn't true IMO. We do have plenty of weak errors to plug though!

Looks like a non-starter anyway then. But yeah I'd have taken the gamble, which his signing would undoubtably be.

Ok, I admit he could be a worth while excercise as the pack is weakened but what has he shown in form that means he will be better than what we have?

Not a huge amount so far to be fair. But he has been a good player in the past and he does offer some experience and size. Whether we would get value for money would maybe depend on the terms of the loan agreement. It is possible that Hull KR would continue to pay some of his salary rather than continue to pay the full amount for a player that they cannot pick.
Our options are limited to be fair, we could look to the NRL but how long would a visa take? If the relevant authorities agreed to it, it might not be such a bad option. The club are obviously wary of seeing some of young guys getting smashed each week by bigger more experienced packs.

| Agreed, it's like any gamble. It is what it is could be a fruitful half season loan deal where he finds some form or comes in and does the same as what he has at Hull KR and upset the fans.
I know players are hard to get hold of at present especially of a good quality but maybe rushing in isn't the way to go.
