| Yep I read it like that from St H. He's right. Some senior players are not pulling their weight and some havent done for 2 seasons now. Drop em.

In fact, you could take his comments as meaning that it is actually the more experienced players who [ishould[/i be carrying the can...'"
Fair enough. I've found his post match comments rather odd in past tbh. He is only a stand in mind so it probably don't really matter what he says. He's just got to prove he's a good number 2 to Potter.

It's inevitable that players are going to face one V one situations at some point so whilst its important to have the technique and commitment but also the pyhsicality to be able to make your tackle count.'"
I don't care how big they are, with the right technique they come down. What you can't do however is prevent the offload.

I recall Halley once tackling Paleaaesina one on one after Paleaaesina made a break. So it cannot be purely down to size as to why Halley regularly misses tackles in one on one situations. I've also seen Rob Burrow make many a tackle one on one on much bigger players.

| I don't think you can say that tackling ability is simply down to technique. It is a very big part of it but strength also plays a pretty big part in it.

You might not, but being big and strong and being able to stand up to opponents attack or defence is part of the game. If your not strong enough to do it, you cant stand up to them, simples. Why do you think there is so much emphasis on strength and conditioning?

Exactly, technique is very important, being strong is equally important.

| Haven't been on since the game, but a couple of things need to be said :
Why drop Sheriffe over Reardon?
Worrincy needs to be dropped.
If Finigan keeps going how he is then he'll become a regular, we don't really have any quality wingers.

Have you heard yourself ! 250 Bulls fans ??
The PA man always names the try scorer at the home games ,you wanna try sitting away from the speakers .

| Bradford took about 50 fans to craven park, shocking support, so dont kid yourself.
For those that did attend, respect, and keep the faith.

The thing is, we can't hope to compete with the 250,000 you bring each time to Odsal, so I think people have just given up trying.

You've got 2 choices when there is such size differential. you can try ball & all & risk getting knocked flying, or you can try & bring them down around the legs. Halley tried the latter, but he ran in hard then stops & his own knees hit the ground before he makes contact with the attacker. IF you are coming in from the side you have no chance unless your momentum takes their legs.

| Quote: Mick Gledhill "To everyone who went to Craven Park today.
It's times like this when we must all stick together and not as so many of the so called supporters have over the past four years, leave and desert the side.
I think it's a testament to have seen so many Bulls supporters there given that we haven't won since Friday 14th May and that 29-10 victory over Wakefield at Belle Vue.
Not many Super League sides would have taken the 250 or so supporters that we took today after no win ten weeks.
For those of us that got there in time for the Academy game, then they'll know where I'm coming from in saying that McNamara's legacy is there for all to see.
Jesus what a game, Hull Kingston Rovers going out to an early 16-0 lead before we score 22 points on the bounce, before yet more drama and a Rovers try on the half time whistle to take the scores at the break 22-22.
Then cue the Bradford masterclass and in particular a stunning 80 minutes from Southernwood who not only was kicking from the sidelines but his general kicking in play and what I can describe as superb vision and leadershp getting the ball moving.
In the end we had too much for the Robins as we ran out winners by 48 points to 28 in a real thriller.
I took loads of photos so will post them all tomorrow, as I've just got back from the game.
People maybe wondering why I'm not despondent or dejected, but being negative in these times of hardship isn't doing me or the club any favours.
See you all at Odsal next Sunday.'"
I think we need a re-count on that.
I would have said it was closer to 50!

| T&A back page.
"Lee St Hilaire hit out at the Bulls’ underperformers following their tenth consecutive defeat.
Bradford’s acting head coach admitted the effort put in by several players was unacceptable during a 49-24 reversal at Hull KR. "
The interesting bit is the picture on the back page. In fairness there are 3 players in it but the central figure is our pacey second rower Michael Worrincy struggling to catch to KR player.
