Trying not to gloat, but this is the most bizarre transfer of the off season.

I'm a die hard wakey supporter and never like to criticise the players (unlike many others at WTW )but i really struggled from day 1 with DS - he's the only player i've ever seen who just walks off the pitch when he's had enough regardless of whether the subs are ready or not - he's so lazy it's unture, and whilst the talent is there the attitude has not been for many years - additionally he always concedes penalties

I genuinly thought it was celtic or the lower leagues for this guy.

Sometimes I despair at the posters on here.

I support Bradford because I was born here, brought up here, and have had a season ticket longer than I care to remember.

I have bought my ticket for next season already.

I do not care who the chairman is, I also do not care who the coach is.

I would rather see 17 players playing every week giving 100% with points to prove, who may not be classed by us lot as 'World Class', than us to splash the cash on 3 expensive Aussies here for a pay day who aint interested in putting effort in. We have had that since 2004.

For too long the team has lacked the hunger for success, but I now see the bones of that starting to emerge. we hit rock bottom missing the play offs last year, we have since replaced some big earners and often underachievers, with players who are hungry and have a point to prove.

Back your team.

There are enough fans of other clubs out there who are bound to have a go at us as a club, but surely we should be leading the defense not the onslaught!

Didn't you tell us Moore was coming to us?

I'm sure Nobby has more pulling power and cash at his disposal than Macca/Hood, so why wouldn't he.

Good post that, and I agree with that to an extent. But I still don't think it's a good signing.

Sorry i couldn't resist. We all love the club, that's why we turn up, but we also want to see it flourish, we want to see it appeal to new people and grow and become more successful, not celebrate decline and revel in marginality. There's a recession happening, the longest we've had for some time and it's a spectator sport, and people can and will go elsewhere, which is and will impact the club terribly. It's because we care that we can be bothered to criticise, most people are just failing to turn up. It's not Bradford or nothing, it's can it be run, managed and financed better, can it compete, innovate, capture some of the spirit we've enjoyed in the past, can it provide role models for kids, can it entertain, does it have ambition? Just telling us all to like it or lump it is not a strategy for improving things.

If the club is moving in the right direction I'm sure most fans would think the same. Unfortunately that's open to debate and that's what messageboards are all about.



Not with you here? Are you saying that from 04-09 we've had expensive aussies who aren't putting the effort in? Who do you mean?



I hope you're right about us hitting rock bottom but I think we've a season to go yet. We've replaced some underachievers with others who are the same I reckon. We can only pray they do finally play to their potential.



I'm sure all of us on here will continue to do that. The amount of posts just shows how much people do care. I'd be more worried if nobody gave a monkeys. Look at the response for the player sponsorship and supporters trust. Many of the posters on here are prepared to give up their time and money for the club.



You can't expect fans to defend every decision the club make, they're bound to split opinion at times. The recruitment this off season hasn't been the greatest and so you'd be naive to expect fans to accept it and be shouting from the rooftops about the signinings of Reardon and Sculthorpe.

Out of interest does anyone know what alternatives (i.e. ooc british prop forwards) were available this year?
