Just out of interest, what would be the penalty for cap violations? Docked points has always been part of it. Which competition would you dock the points from? You'd have to assume regular season competition rather than the 8s simply because it means different things to have points docked in the 8s depending on where you are in the structure. I think you could also reasonably assume that a newly promoted club would also be a middle 8 team the following year at least. At which point, how much of a penalty is it really to have points docked if all it does is put you in a competition you were' going to be in anyway?

Why wouldn't you play your absolute best 17 today, that should not include Seijka we can all see that? This was THE game to win in the qualifiers and its a perfect example of why Lowes will never be a top coach - his stubborn streak that served him so well as a player has cost us this game, but he has to try and prove that he's seen something in a useless scrum half we've all missed.

A good many of us saw this coming from the season and how its been approached. I am pleased in a way that this has happened because we can go back and realise that we simply are not super league quality. Super League is faster and have delivered.
