Cheers, I'll try that when I get my PC set up. The laptop I'm using has the browser set up without a vew menu or any other sort of menu! In short it's a pain in the backside!

latest cumulative stats. basically a shortage of tackles in the forwards - Joseph made 9 this week versus Donaldson/Sibbit in the 40's - and missed tackles in particular the backs where Purtell and Walker were very much missed defensively and a lot more pressure was put on our wings as their missed tackle rates went up. errors per carry were higher from Joseph Burgess Whitehead and Sammut. not a good game for Lulia and joseph to make their debuts. hargreaves and Scruton keep upping their tackles a game. Langley performing consistently well across the stats. The one other conclusion from the stats is that Wigan were a much much better side than Cas playing a weaker and less match fit side than the round 2 Bulls team.

cumulative data after Wakefield. I have taken the Dream Team 2011 players stats and added those as a benchmark for ours as an average per position. For the props the DT average is massively lifted by James Grahams astonishing stats, Carvells were nowhere as good. The one player that for this season is at or arguably better than the dreamteam stats for their postion is Jamie Langley. his stats are an improvement on last year, but still below 2010, so there could be even more to come from him. Other encouraging signs from the stats against Wakefield are Jason Crookes performance which in meters was getting up to DT standards, Hargreaves who if he keeps his Wakefield performance going will have stepped up as he said he would, and Kearney metres made was a big step up from previously. Areas of concern the centres where we need a settled pair, tho against wakie Platt and Lulia both improved massively particularly tackling, and only having 2 props Hargreaves and Koppy playing anywhere near standard. 2nd row doesnt need mentioning with the disruptions there. effects of injury are still showing in Scrutons and L'Estranges stats when compared with previous years, so definitely more to come from them. Bateman has upped his work rate over last year but lowered his errors and missed tackle rate, and his tackle bust rate is equal best with Kearney, if he can continue that he will fully realise the potential behind the hype.

Like that, the addition of the Dream Team stats is a great addition to give some comparison. Good skills.

why is platt classed as a fullback when he's played all this years games as a ? I know he's technically a FB but would be more logical to put him with the where hes playing.

The classification is per the Bulls website squad designation. It is purely a starting point and can be flexed according to what actually happens. Platt is in essence a utility player and will play where he is told, for example full back should Kearney be injured. So yes I agree, it needs to be kept under review as to the actual position played.

Round 5 stats below. team 2012 and 2011 with points per game for and against added at the bottom.

Team stats are still showing the Cats. and Pies games or to put it the other way the last two games have resulted in a big improvement in the averages, to the extent that the points per game difference is positive, and even with those two games the points against is four points per game less this season than last, 10 points per game less if you take just the last two. We have covered Lynchs tackles well enough, the missed tackle % is less than last season, but not until the last game or so matched his go forward, offloads etc, but with mnm up to speed that should be covered. with Lulia and Purtell back the points should improve, our top two try scorers at the moment are a full back and a 2nd row not centre or winger.

You can sort of see why Saints are missing James Roby.

and Graham. he was clear of every other props stats by a massive margin, the other prop in that dream team average is Carvell, whose stats are more like our better props. So I dont see any of our front row getting any where near the dreamteam this season. It does illustrates the problems of having star players you spend a lot of cap on suddenly not there, spreading the cap around may make a duller team but a more consistent one.
